Ultimamente a Itália vem me surpreendendo com boas bandas vindas da terra do espaguete, especialmente de hard rock/Sleaze, eu pude conferir essa afirmação fazendo reviews de outras excelentes bandas vindas deste país, como Houston, The GuestZ, Hungryheart, e a banda Cream Pie é mais uma promessa, e posso dizer que cumpriu com o seu dever neste trabalho.
Esse álbum debut intitulado "Dirty Job" lançado agora em 2008, aliás o nome da banda já faz você imaginar do que as letras falam. Apesar de "Dirty Job" ser o debut da banda, antes ela chegou a lançar um EP ao vivo "Live Crime" em 2007, contendo 4 faixas, as quais fazem parte agora do debut, mas claro, com uma qualidade melhor de gravação, pois naquele EP ao vivo a qualidade sonora não era das melhores, agora a banda acertou com a produção e se mostra bem mais profissional(mas ainda não está 100%).
Depois da gravação e alguns shows nos Estados Unidos, a banda teve algumas trocas na formação, portanto no álbum a formação é: Joey Florenz - vocal/guitar, Nikki Dick - guitar, Michael Drake - bass, Brian Kent - drums. A atual formação conta agora com um novo vocalista Rachel O'Neill e um novo guitarrista Phantom.
Falando sobre o som da banda, mais uma vez afirmo, mais uma boa banda vinda da Itália que toca Hard rock/Sleaze, bem na linha Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx, Dirty Penny, Black Rain, etc...boas referências não faltam para a banda.
Quem é fã destas bandas pode conferir o som do Cream Pie sem medo, mostrando aquele tipico hard rock mais sujo, letras idem, e como disse anteriormente, com uma produção boa, e com aquele jeito Sueco de se fazer hard rock, mesmo vindo da Itália.
Logo de cara você já reconhecerá os adjetivos ditos em cima com a primeira faixa "Leave in Coma", boa faixa, mas a seguinte é melhor, "Long Leader", essa a la Crashdiet.
Em "Whore" temos mais uma boa faixa, mas que titulo sujestivo heim? Mas muito boa faixa, diversão em todos os sentidos. Em "Zip it" é uma das minhas preferidas, essa com um refrão que gruda em seu cérebro.
Mas ainda temos uma das melhores do álbum "Electric Blue", que também faz parte do EP ao vivo, mas agora com uma gravação bem superior, e comprova que trata-se do ponto alto do cd, muito bom refrão e trabalho de guitarra.
Sem dúvida eu posso recomendar essa banda, especialmente para quem curte um hard rock/sleaze Sueco, e fique atento que ainda iremos ouvir muito falar de bandas deste estilo vindas da Itália, e o Cream Pie está ai, e espero que seja para ficar.

Who are fans of these mentioned band could check out the Cream Pie's sound without fear, they show that typical dirtier hard rock, lyrics the same, with good production and with that Swedish style of doing hard rock, even coming from Italy.
At the very beginning you'll recognize all the adjectives I told you before with the first track "Leave in Coma", a good one, but next one is even better: "Long Leader", a la Crashdiet. In "Whore" another good one, what a suggestive title right?
But much better is about to come, fun in every meaning of the word, "Zip it" is one of my favorites, with that stick refrain that doesn't come out from your brain, but we still have one of the album's best: "Electric Blue", also from that live EP, but with a supreme recording, that proves that this is a must have album, a very good refrain and guitar work.
Out of question this album is recommended, especially if you like Swedish hard rock/slease, so stay tuned for we will hear about many other Italian bands, Cream Pie is there and it came to stay.
