Myland - Tales from a Inner Planet

Está excelente banda italiana está de volta com o seu quarto álbum de estúdio após o último "Light of a New Day" que foi bem recebido pela imprensa especializada.
Novamente a banda aposta no melodic rock, com teclados por toda parte e se sai muito bem neste álbum, com grandes arranjos e melodias.
Com a faixa de abertura "Wave of Memories" a banda já mostra todo o seu potencial em criar composições melodiosas e cativantes, e neste ritmo a banda segue com a próxima música "In the Rising Sun", mostrando um grande talento para o estilo.
A emocionante "Feel the Fire" nos traz uma dose cavalar de melodia, com teclados típicos do estilo e refrão que você já sai cantando junto.
Confiram também as ótimas "Rising up Again", a totalmente AOR "Out of the Shadows" e a balada melódica "If You Could Say the Same".
Eu poderia destacar muitas músicas deste álbum, como eu não quero que você perca tempo, confira este álbum, vale cada segundo do seu tempo.

Myland - No Man's Land

Essa banda é super influenciada por algumas bandas clássicas do melodic rock. Me lembraram a banda Shy, inclusive com um vocal similar a Tony Mills ou mesmo Kelvin Chalfant, e com certeza a maior das influências, claro, estamos falando do Journey.
A banda é formada por Guido Priori (vocals), Massimiliano Passerini (guitar), Hox Martino (guitar), Clod Corazza (bass), Paolo Morbini(drums, ex-EVA, Bruno Rock) e Will Medini (keyborads). A álbum conta com a participação especial de algumas estrelas, como o guitarrista Kee Marcelo (ex-Europe), que cuidou da masterização
na Suécia, também o guitarrista Tony Denander (Toto, Chicago...) e Alex Del Vecchio (Edge of Forever).
Com um time desses, seria dificil não sair boa música, e é o que ouvimos em "No Man's Land", segundo álbum destes italianos, a banda mostra a força do melodic rock, AOR dos anos 80, de gigantes do estilo, como Journey, Europe, Giant, etc...
O álbum possui linhas melódicas, refrões poderosos, o mesmo tenho a dizer do instrumental e vocais, com uma produção muito boa.
A maioria das faixas segue a mesma linha de composição, talvez o trabalho apenas peca pela falta de originalidade, pois algumas vezes parece que estamos ouvindo algum álbum do Journey, inclusive no vocal, mas isso não tira o mérito do trabalho apresentar músicas melódicas e agradáveis, que vai te fazer viajar para os anos 80.

This band is super influenced by some classic melodic rock ones. It reminds me of the band Shy, inclusive with a similar vocal to Tony Mills, Kelvin Chalfant, and certainly one of the biggest influences, of course, we're talking about Journey.
Formed by Guido Priori (vocals), Massimiliano Passerini (guitar), Hox Martino (guitar), Clod Corazza (bass), Paolo Morbini(drums, former EVA, Bruno Rock) and Will Medini (keyborads).
The album counts on a very special guests such as the guitarrist Kee Marcelo (former Europe), who took care of the masterization in Sweden, and also the guitarrist Tony Denander (Toto, Chicago...) and Alex Del Vecchio (Edge of Forever).
With this dream team it would be hard not to make good music, and that's what we listen to in "No Man's Land", second album of these Italians, the band shows the melodic rock strength , AOR from the 80s, giants of the genre, like Journey, Europe, Giant, etc...
The album holds melodic lines, powerful refrains, and the same vibration about the instrumental and vocals, with a very good production.
Most of the tracks folow the same line of composition, maybe the work just commits a sin for the lack of originality, because sometimes it seems we're listening to a Journey's album, inclusive the vocals, but that does't take the merit of their work because they present pleasant melodic songs, who will make you travel down memory lane through the 80s.
