Rock'n'Metal, Heavy'n'Roll... o certo é que vão ter que criar um novo rótulo para definir o som desta banda(ou Power rock n' metal como eles mesmo se rotulam) que conseguiu encontrar o ponto de equilíbrio entre o Running Wild, AC/DC e Motorhead, e claro uma boa dose de personalidade própria.
É impossível ficar parado ouvindo suas 12 energéticas canções, os caras são ótimos músicos(acho que os alemães já devem nascer sabendo tocar heavy metal, tamanha a quantidade de boas bandas que surgem por lá), lembrando que inclusive um álbum da banda já esteve disponível no mercado nacional com o álbum "Power Drive" de 2001.
Neste novo álbum intitulado "Outlaw Invation" é o 4º álbum do Gun Barrel produzido por Yenz Leonhardt (Iron Savior, Kingdom Come, Savage Circus, etc.) e masterizado por Tommy Hansen(Helloween, TNT, Jorn Lande, etc.) e continua contando com uma excelente produção.
A banda continua forte no seu estilo tocando músicas pesadas e empolgantes em sua grande maioria, provando mais uma vez que o rock 'n roll é eterno, e quando é tocado com amor a música e ao estilo que tanto amamos, o heavy metal, não há como errar.
O álbum já inicia-se com a excelente "Front Killer", grande andamento, riffs e backing vocals, com um inicio desse, podemos esperar que o álbum terá outros momentos como esse, e realmente há. Com um andamento diferente, mas ainda empolgante, a faixa "Keep on Movin'" é outro destaque.
Também destacaria "Cheap, Wild & Nasty" e também umas das minhas preferidas "M.I.L.F.". Um álbum que mantém o ritmo em suas 13 faixas, mantendo você ligado em todas elas.
Recomendo esse álbum a todos que curtem um heavy metal mais tradicional com algumas tendências ao hard rock oitentista e o puro rock n' roll.

Rock'n'Metal, Heavy'n'Roll... the truth here is that somebody is going to create a new label to define the sound of this band (or Power rock n' metal as they call themselves) who was able to find the balance among Running Wild, AC/DC and Motorhead, but with a good dose of personality. It’s impossible to stand still listening to their 12 full of energy songs, those guys are great musicians (I guess Germans are born already knowing how to play heavy metal, due to the abundance of good bands that emerge there), just remembering that one of their album was available on the Brazilian market, "Power Drive" (2001).
In this new one, titled "Outlaw Invation", is the fourth of their career and produced by Yenz Leonhardt (Iron Savior, Kingdom Come, Savage Circus, etc.) and masterized by Tommy Hansen (Helloween, TNT, Jorn Lande, etc.) and counting on a excellent production.
The band keeps strong on their genre, playing heavy and overpowering songs, proving once more that rock 'n roll is forever, and when the music is played with love in a so beloved heavy metal way, there’s no mistakes.
The album already opens with the excellent "Front Killer", grande andamento, riffs and backing vocals, this just the beggining, we can wait more moments like this, and really it's true. With a different rhythm, but still exciting, the song "Keep on Movin'" another highlight.
I’d also distinguish "Cheap, Wild & Nasty" and one of my favorites: "M.I.L.F.". the album keeps the rhythm through the 13 track. I recommend this album for those who enjoy a more traditional heavy metal with some 80s hard rock trend and the pure rock n' roll.
