A banda Oney foi formada em 1987, fez shows com algumas bandas conhecidas do hard rock, como Leatherwolf, Faster Pussycat, Jackyl, etre outras.
A banda lançou nos final dos anos 80 um EP "Good Guys Wear Black", e chegou a gravar um outro álbum que se chamaria "Waysted Love", o qual nunca viu a luz do dia.
Agora ambos, o seu EP "Good Guys Wear Black", e esse segundo álbum citado não lançado, agora intitulado "Bust Em Down", foram relançados pelo selo independente Retrospect records.
Falando sobre a música do Oney, trata-se de um hard rock bem anos 80, mesmo porque as gravações são daquela época, apesar da produção não ser muito boa para os padrões atuais, a música é um bom e velho hard rock.
Aliás falando sobre os relançamentos da Retrospect records, eles deveriam ter mais capricho na questão de produção, remasterização dos álbums, pois eles ficam muito atrás de outros selos especializados em relançamentos de álbums antigos ou que nunca sairam em cd, especialmente na divulgação dos seus artistas.
Há bons momentos em ambos álbums, a faixa "Take Me Now" é a minha preferida, essa é a música que vale a aquisição de seu segundo álbum, assim como o seu EP, pois ambos seguem a mesma fórmula, ouça também "Sweet Tequila", mais uma boa faixa.

The band Oney was formed in 1987, made some shows with some known hard rok bands like Leatherwolf, Faster Pussycat, Jackyl, among others.
In the end of the 80s they released an EP called "Good Guys Wear Black", and recorded another album that was supposed to be called "Waysted Love", which in fact never came to light. But now both of them (the EP and that unreleased album) now titled "Bust Em Down", are re-released by the independent label Retrospect records.
Talking about Oney's music is a 80 hard rock, simply because the recording is from that time, but despite the production not being too much good if you compare to the nowadays one the music is still a good and old hard rock.
Now talking about Retrospect records relelases, they should have some caprice on the production point, a remasterization for example would do good because they are too far behind the other specialized labels when it's about re-realising that never came to compact disc format, especially the artits divulgation.
There are good moments in both albums, the track "Take Me Now" is my favorite, this song makes this second release worthy as the EP, because they follow the same pattern, listen to "Sweet Tequila" too, another good one.
