Esse álbum do Angel Edge foi originalmente lançado em 1989, atualmente é um cd raro, somente agora chega em minhas mãos, mas como dizem, antes tarde do que nunca, pois a banda tem qualidade, e muitos fãs brasileiros de Hard rock/AOR ainda não conhecem a banda.
Trata-se do tipico hard rock/aor dos anos 80 com um vocalista "Kenny Romero" muito bom, lembrando Robert Fleischman (Vinnie Vincent) e Steve Perry (Journey). O guitarrista Rumaldo Ortiz também canta em 2 faixas, além de se mostrar um excelente guitarrista, com solos melódicos, similar a Neil Schon (Journey) e seu próprio feeling, além de ser o compositor do álbum.
A produção não é tão boa (o álbum parece mais antigo), mas para um lançamento independente está aceitável, aliás tenho que acrescentar um comentário, caso fosse lançado com uma boa produção e divulgação, talvez na época a banda poderia ter tido uma maior exposição.
As 8 faixas deste álbum são muito boas, todas com solos muito bem tocados, grande uso de teclados (a cargo de Rumaldo Ortiz), vocalizações emotivas de Kenny Romero, tenho que comentar também que Rumaldo fez bem essa parte nas duas canções as quais ele canta.
Em "All a Game" "Broken Hearts and Shattered Dreams" e "Realm of Darkness" temos destaques imediatos, canções no melhor estilo a la Journey e Airkraft, essas caracteristicas e boas influências ocorrem na maioria das faixas.

This Angel Edge album, originally released by MP3.com in 1989, actually is a rare cd, just available for download, just now comes into my hands, but better late than never, because the band hás quality, and many Hard rock/AOR brazilian fans don’t know the band yet.
It’s abvout the typical 80s hard rock/aor 80, with a good vocalist "Kenny Romero", reminding of Robert Fleischman (Vinnie Vincent) and Steve Perry (Journey). The guitarrist Rumaldo Ortiz, that besides showing himself an excellent one, also sings in two tracks, with melodic solos, similar to Neil Schon (Journey) and its own feeling, and the guy is the composer from the album too.
The production is not so good (it sounds like an older album), but for an independent release is acceptable, by the way, there’s something I’d like to comment, in case of this album had been released with a good production and publicizing, maybe at that time the band would be widely commented.
The eight tracks are very good, all of them with well played solo, great use of keyboards, (played by Rumaldo Ortiz), emotive vocalizations by Kenny Romero, and Rumaldo made a great work in his vocal performance mentioned earlier in two tracks. In "All a Game", "Broken Hearts and Shattered Dreams" and "Realm of Darkness" we have immediately highlights, songs in the better Journey and Airkraft style, these characteristic of good influences flows through the veins of all songs.
