Como todo mundo está cansando de saber, a Suécia nos últimos tempos tem se tornado um centro produtivo de bandas de qualidade, na verdade desde os anos 80 que surgem deste país representantes de várias vertentes do heavy metal e hard rock. Ultimamente existem muitas bandas apostando no hard rock, Glam/Sleaze, e uma delas é a excelente e uma das melhores revelações no campo do hard rock, o Crazy Lixx que veio provar que o estilo vive um grande momento, claro, nada como foi nos anos 80, mas a cena tem crescido consideravelmente de uns anos para cá.
O Crazy Lixx foi formado em Malmoe na Suécia em 2002, lançaram dois singles antes do seu álbum debut, sendo lançado na Europa em 2007 o seu aguardado álbum debut intitulado "Loud Minority", e apenas em julho de 2008 no Japão através da gravadora Stay Gold, mas contando com 2 faixas a mais: "Bad in a Good Way" e "No Guts, No Glory".
A banda que conta com a seguinte formação neste álbum: Danny Rexon - vocals, Vic Zino - guitar, Luke Rivano - bass e Joey Cirera - Drums/percussion. O guitarrista Vic Zino já não faz mais parte da banda, foi convidado inicialmente como guitarrista temporário na banda Hardcore Superstar, e depois sendo efetivado no posto, sendo assim ele foi substituído depois de um tempo de busca por Andy Dawson (ex- Sharp).
Vamos falar sobre a excelente música contida em "Loud Minority", o álbum foi gravado, mixado e produzido por Chris Laney(Zan Clan, Animal), que também fez alguns backing vocals no álbum, como em outras produções de sua autoria, o som está excelente.
Se você gosta de músicas com grande refrãos, músicas que te prendem, excelente trabalho de guitarra, produção digna dos grandes nomes da música e muita atitude, o Crazy Lixx é a banda certa para você.
Há vários destaques no álbum, ele é excelente do começo ao fim, há uma música mais a la Skid Row em "Hell or High Water", muito bom inicio, seguida de uma das minhas preferidas "Dr. Hollywood" com o seu refrão grudento, com uma melodia muito bem feita, como também backing vocals bem colocados.
A faixa "Want it" o seu novo single, é uma faixa bem anos 80, nessa hora dá vontade de aumentar o volume! Mas claro, também temos uma linda balada em "Make Ends Meet" que começa lenta, mas depois se torna muito empolgante, o álbum mal começou, mas a empolgação já está no máximo.
Algumas músicas contidas neste álbum, também fazem parte dos singles lançados antes do debut, como é o caso da música "Death Row", mas com uma roupagem bem diferente da original.
Ouça também as faixas "Boneyard" e "Do or Die", mais destaques neste álbum obrigatório, aliás, o que você está esperando, vá atrás do seu agora mesmo, imperdível!

As everybody knows Sweden is becoming a productive quality bands center lately, the truth is that since the 80s many representative hard rock and heavy metal bands are known, nowadays many of them bet on hard rock, glam/sleeze genre, and Crazy Lixx is one of the best revelation.

Now let’s talk about the excellent music contained in "Loud Minority", the album was recorded, mixed and produced by Chris Laney(Zan Clan, Animal), that also did some backings vocals, as he always does in his production, the sound is excellent. If you like songs that catch you with great refrains, excellent guitar work, wothy production with great names on it and much attitude, then Crazy Lixx is the right band for you.
There are many highlights there, the album is excellent from the beginning to end, there’s a song a la Skid Row in "Hell or High Water", a good opening, followed by one of my favorites "Dr. Hollywood" with a sticky refrain and a melody and backing vocals well done. The track "Want it" is the new single, and it’s total 80s one, in this is the time you feel like turning the volume up! Yes, sure, we also have a beautiful ballad "Make Ends Meet" that starts slow, the it becomes amazing, the álbum just started and you are excited from the very beginning.
Some songs from the álbum also are a part of the 2 previous singles released before this debut, like the song "Death Row", but with new arrangement different from the original one. Also listen to the tracks "Boneyard" and "Do or Die", they are obligatory, by the way what are you waiting for man? Go for it! Right now. Awesome!
