The GuestZ - Not for Money just for Glory

A banda THe Guestz de Roma(Itália), toca um hard rock/slease rock, ou como eles se auto-intitulam pirate rock 'n roll, com um som no molde dos anos 80 misturado com AC/DC e Krokus.
Formada em 2006 e contando com os membros: Mimmo God – Vocals/Guitar, Jonna – Guitar/Back. Vocals, Rob n’ Roll – Bass/Back. Vocals, Matt – Drums/Back. Vocals.
Neste EP de estréia a banda contou com uma boa produção, onde as 5 músicas presentes não fazem feio, e é um prato cheio para quem curte um rock n' roll sem frescuras, músicas com estruturas simples, e não menos empolgantes, especialmente para quem curte as bandas mencionadas acima.
Destaques para as músicas "Jonna Wants Two Beers"(a la Krokus), "House of Rock" e "In The Blink of An Eye"(a melhor faixa do cd).
Boa estréia do The Guestz, agora só nos resta aguardar um álbum completo da banda, e espero que a qualidade seja mantida.
De curiosidade, o nome da banda foi escolhido quando eles abriram para o Soul Doctor, o qual a descrição dizia: Soul Doctor + Makonee + Guests, então o guitarrista Jonna sugeriu "The Guests", mudando para "The GuestZ", para não ter coincidências de nomes.

The band THe Guestz from rome, Italy plays hard rock/slease rock, or as they self-title pirate rock 'n roll, with a sound like the 80s, mixturing AC/DC and Krokus. Formed in 2006 by: Mimmo God – Vocals/Guitar, Jonna – Guitar/Back. Vocals, Rob n’ Roll – Bass/Back. Vocals Matt – Drums/Back. Vocals.
On this first EP the band had good production, where the 5 presented songs don’t cut a sorry figure, it’s a dessert for those who likes no fussy rock n’ roll, music with simple structure, but that are not less overwhelming especially if you like those bands mentioned above. The highlights here are "Jonna Wants Two Beers" (a la Krokus), "House of Rock" and "In The Blink of An Eye"(the best track of the album). A good debut, now let’s wait for a complete work, and I hope the quality will be kept.
Trivia: the name of the band was chosen when they opened a show of Soul Doctor, which the description said: Soul Doctor + Makonee + Guests, then the guitarrist Jonna suggested "The Guests", changing the final letter to Z in juxtaposition.
