A banda antes conhecida como Antidote, uma banda covers do Poison, depois da mudança de nome para Dirty Penny a banda que conta com Binge Daniels(vocals), Jonny Prynce(guitar), Tyno Vincent(bass), Spanky savage(drums) lança o seu debut "Take it Sleazy", e sem dúvida trata-se de uns dos destaques de 2007, absolutamente matador. Um sleazy/Glam com atitude certa para uma banda de sleazy/glam, se o hard rock dos anos 80 vai voltar com tudo, realmente não sei, mas o Dirty Penny é um bom exemplo do bom momento do estilo. Se você curte bandas como Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx, etc... sim, eu citei bandas suecas, seria o Dirty Penny uma resposta a bandas suecas de sleazy/glam? Grande músicas com grandes backing vocals, riffs de guitarras muito legais. O cd foi produzido por Johnny Lima, inclusive também ajudou na composição de algumas faixas. Destaques: "Hot & Heavy" com backings muito legais, assim como na faixa "Take a Bite" uma das minhas preferidas. A "Running Wild" uma faixa mais rápida, um hard/heavy muito bom.
Ainda destaco "Black n´Blue" um rock n´roll direto, impossível ficar parado e ainda temos a divertida "Vendetta" novamente com grandes backings vocals e "Scream & Shout" o título já diz tudo!
Como pode uma banda como essa ainda não terem um contrato com alguma gravadora! Altamente recomendado, compre! Esse álbum realmente chuta bundas.
English: The former band known as Antidote, a Poison cover band, after changing the name to Dirty penny, with Binge Daniel (vocals), Jonny Prynce (guitar), Tyno Vincent (Bass) and Spanky Savage (drums) releases its debut titled "Take It Easy", and without any doubt is one of the spotlight in 2007, an abosolutely killer, a slezy/glam sound with the right attitude, if the 80's hard rock is coming back i really don't know, but Dirty Penny is a good example of the genre good moment.
If you enjoy bands such Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx.. yes, these swedish bands, would it be Dirty Penny a response to all swedish sleazy/glam bands? The album was produced by Johnny Lima, who also helped in some of the compositions. "Hot & Heavy" with very cool backings, as in the "Take A Bite", one of my favorites, "Running Wild" a faster hard/heavy one, there's also "Black'n Blue" a straight rock n' roll song, impossible to keep you stopped, and we also have the funny "Vendetta", again with great backing vocals and "Scream & Shout", the title says everything for itself! How can a band like this don't have a contract with a record company/label yet!
Highly recommended, buy it! This album is a real kick your ass one.
